Happy National School Counseling Week!

Hatboro-Horsham School District proudly recognizes the incredible impact of our school counselors across our schools.

Our counselors are often the first to listen, the first to encourage, and the first to help students find their way through challenges both big and small. They support academic planning, social and emotional growth, college and career readiness, and serve as trusted partners for students, families, and staff every single day.

Thank you to our school counselors for the care, compassion, and expertise you bring to our district community.

Hatboro-Horsham School District is proud to partner with GIANT, located at 314 Horsham Road, Horsham, PA 19044, in support of the Feeding School Kids campaign. Through March 31, customers shopping at the Horsham GIANT can round up their purchase at the register to help fight childhood hunger right here in our community.

The GIANT Company will match all customer donations up to $100,000, doubling the impact for students in need. HHSD is grateful to be a beneficiary of this campaign, which directly supports our ongoing efforts to ensure students have access to nutritious meals so they are ready to learn each day.

We encourage our school community to participate and help make a difference for HHSD students.

Upcoming Winter Break Dates
Dear Hatboro-Horsham Families and Staff, As snow and wintry conditions occurred today, we are closely monitoring the weather and its impact on safely operating schools. School lots have been cleared and salted but concerns about access to schools and freezing on sidewalks and side streets remain. To ensure a safe arrival to school, we will operate on a two-hour delay schedule tomorrow, Monday, December 15. Our operations staff will be in early on Monday to treat the walkways and parking lots again. Morning childcare services will begin at 8:30 am. School breakfast and lunch will be served. There is no Eastern Center AM session on Monday. Thank you, and please be safe.

Students from Mrs. Boxman and Mrs. Lyford's ELD class at the high school visited Simmons Elementary to practice their English skills by reading to younger students. The student council representatives at Crooked Billet Elementary organized a “Socktober” sock drive and successfully collected 583 pairs of socks! Each week, the representatives tallied the totals for each grade level and shared the results during the morning announcements. A friendly competition was held among the grade levels, with kindergarten emerging as the winner by donating 160 of the 583 pairs of socks. We are incredibly proud of all the students and their families for helping to warm the feet of our neighbors in need during the upcoming cold months.
