A big THANK YOU to our amazing custodians for keeping our schools clean, safe, and welcoming every day. Their hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for all they do!
We're proud of our student leaders who attended the Unified Youth Summit at Bucks County Community College. Olivia Currier, Devan Comitalo, Abigail Donohue, and Melanie Lion brilliantly represented HHSD. They brainstormed ideas for inclusive school activities and Special Olympics fundraisers, collaborating with peers from across the Greater Philadelphia Region. Our students shared insights on promoting meaningful inclusion in academics, clubs, and sports.
Another successful Walk this Way Spirit Day at Hallowell! The students had a fantastic opportunity to learn from vital members of our community, including local safety officers and their K9 partners 🐕. Throughout the event, students gained valuable insights into safety practices, healthy living, and making positive choices. It was inspiring to see the meaningful connections formed between our young learners and these community heroes.

Just a reminder: there is no school for students this Thursday, October 3, and Friday, October 4, in observance of Rosh Hashanah. District offices are also closed on Thursday, October 3.
Today, we kicked off an exciting new menu initiative at the High School, offering students trending cuisine every third Tuesday of the month. A guest chef delighted students with a flavorful Indian-inspired menu featuring Chicken Tikka Masala, Cilantro Lime Rice, Naan Bread, and Fresh String Beans. The response was incredible, with a great turnout and lots of positive student feedback!
Up next is a Ramen Noodles Bar on October 15th, with many other amazing dishes to come.
Tonight at our School Board meeting, we celebrated four members of our Board as Pennsylvania School Board Association (PSBA) Honor Roll recipients for their 5+ years of dedicated service.
Congratulations to Theresa Brown, David Brown, Susan Hunsinger-Hoff, and Denise (DJ) Schultz for this well-deserved recognition. Their unwavering commitment and countless hours of service have tremendously impacted our schools and community. We are deeply grateful for their leadership and dedication to our students and staff.

This morning, we celebrated a cherished tradition: our Senior Sunrise! ☀️✨ It was a beautiful way for our seniors to gather and reflect on their journey as they embark on their final year with us. This is the last "first" Friday of their senior year. Looking forward to all the memories about to be made.

Keith Valley Middle School kicked things off yesterday, welcoming students and families with excitement and enthusiasm. Today, our elementary schools hosted their open houses, showcasing all the wonderful things we have planned for the upcoming school year.
Excitement filled the air as families and students explored classrooms, met teachers, and learned about all that we have to offer. We are thrilled for the year ahead.

During convocation, Superintendent Dr. Eveslage emphasized the importance of valuing each student in our schools, reminding us that their success is our top priority. Adding to the festive atmosphere, our talented marching band students warmly welcomed staff as they arrived, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.
