Mr. Daniel Beck is in his first year as an educational leader at Simmons Elementary School. Prior to becoming Assistant Principal at Simmons, Mr. Beck served as the Math Specialist for Simmons for two years and was previously a classroom teacher for 15 years teaching 5th grade for one year and 4th grade for 14 years. He has also been a Supervisor of the Hatboro-Horsham School District’s Summer Academy program for the past six years.  He is excited to support Mrs. Kanter and help lead the Simmons educational community as they work together to support our young learners in all areas such as academic, social and emotional.  

Mr. Beck holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Holy Family University.

Mr. Beck lives in nearby Upper Moreland Township with his wife and their three children. Outside of school, Mr. Beck enjoys reading, photography, coaching youth sports, crossword puzzles, and spending time with his family and friends.
