Special Education
Special Education services at the middle school are a part of the instructional programming in each subject department. If a student has met the state criteria for having a disability and demonstrates the need for specially designed instructional strategies, the student is eligible for special education services. The services are described specifically in a student's Individualized Educational Plan. For each grade level, there are certified special education teachers who either provide direct instruction or collaborate with regular education teachers to support the students' access to the curriculum.
