Fine Arts

Assorted paint brushes and colorful paint in jars on a table.

Through research, experimentation, innovation, collaboration, reflection, revision, and presentation, students will investigate the connections between art and history, social identity, cultural identity, and personal narratives. Students will respond to and create works of art that emphasize the elements of art of line, shape, color, form, space, value, and texture, as well as principles of design that include repetition, movement, rhythm, balance, pattern, and contrast. Students will experience art through a variety of art-making practices. All courses are designed based on the National Core Art Standards and the HH School District's long-term transfer goals.
