Morning Announcements

Good Morning, Hatboro-Horsham Students, Faculty, and Staff

Today is Tuesday, January 13th, and it’s a BLACK Day.

  • Today is the last day of Keystone Exams.  We are back to a regular schedule tomorrow.

  • We have 9 days remaining until the start of final exams, so the first semester is quickly coming to an end. Be sure to finish strong! Use your lunch-and-learns wisely to make up missed work and get support from teachers before the start of final exams.

  • The Key Club and Interact drives continue through January 29th. We are accepting pillows, new twin-sized sheets, new or gently used blankets and comforters, and new or gently used books that can be dropped off in rooms F209 or H205.

  • Special Olympics is coming up in May. This event is only possible with the support of our student volunteers.  If you are interested in joining the hundreds of volunteers, sign-ups are happening now -- find the QR code on any TV in the building. Deadline to sign up is this Friday!

LUNCH & LEARN:

  • The Main Gym will be closed during Lunch and Learn today.

  • Hatters Student Union will be meeting in the Library during Learn 1.

  • Concert Choir meets today in C119 during Learn 2.

  • Math Club will be meeting Learn 2 in B118.

  • The United States Air Force will be in the Student Success Center during Lunch and Learn today.

IN THE WORLD OF SPORTS:

  • Our Hatters Unified Bocce team had a very successful first ever home match in front of a crowded house! The team won 2 out of 4 games, our best result yet! Excellent performances by all players. Special shout out to Chris Deely, who consistently delivered great rolls, as well as Gabby Fisher and Kennedy Conn, who both came up big with game winning rolls! Also, a BIG THANK YOU to all the student fans who filled the stands with spirit and a very lively atmosphere! Please come out to fill the stands and cheer on our Seniors for our Senior Night and final match right here at HH on Monday, January 26 at 3:30.

  • The Boys Bowling team beat Abington 3-1. The most important outcome of the game was that Tommy Rawa rolled a PERFECT 300! His second perfect game — and this time it counted on varsity for HHHS!  Also, Tommy gets an automatic spot at Nationals. The Girls lost to Abington 1-3. Special shoutout to Cadence Goodman for her 122 game and 308 series!

TODAY’S ACTION:

  • Both basketball teams are in action today, as the boys host Truman tonight at 7 pm.

  • The girls will travel to Bensalem for their game at 7 pm

  • The boys and girls swim teams also have a meet today as they will host Abington at 3:45

HAVE A GREAT DAY, HATTERS!
