Dear AP Students & Families:

We are excited to announce that Advanced Placement (AP) exam registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now available. This letter contains important information about the registration process, deadlines, and payment requirements. Registration for 2026 AP exams will be the same online process as in previous years through our relationship with Total Registration, LLC. You can find the link to our personalized HHHS registration at www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/391695/. The link can also be found on the high school website. Paying online by credit card is ideal, but paying by check is also an option.

ATTENTION: Students and guardians should complete this registration/enrollment together. This is a two-step process, and both steps MUST be completed to access AP Classroom resources and/or order AP Exams. The entire process can be completed in a single sitting in approximately 10 minutes. It would be wise for families to register within the September and October timeframe. To complete registration, students must answer all required questions. We strongly recommend that parents and students be present while registering to ensure that the correct exams are ordered.

Step 1:
Complete the registration process online
Step 2: Enroll all your AP courses and exams in the College Board's MyAP system using the Join Codes you will receive after completing Step 1

College Board Requirements

After completing our school registration, you must enroll in your courses on the College Board's MyAP system at MyAP.CollegeBoard.org using:

  • Your existing College Board student account (if you have previously taken AP, PSAT, or SAT exams), OR

  • Create a new College Board student account

Use the Join Codes provided on your confirmation page to complete this enrollment. You will also receive this join code from your AP teacher when school begins.

Important Reminders

  • Complete both steps immediately - exams will not be ordered if both steps are not completed

  • Print your confirmation page for your records

  • Students taking AP courses/exams at Hatboro-Horsham High School must register by March 5, 2026

  • Have a credit card or debit card ready if you plan to pay online

It is also crucial that students collaborate with their AP teacher to enroll in the AP Classroom. AP Classroom is a separate system run by the College Board that teachers use to assign assignments, provide resources, and check a student’s AP testing status. Students must sign up using the six-digit join code they receive from their AP teacher during the first week of school.

IMPORTANT: Students taking a VHS AP Course must also sign up for AP Classroom and use the join code they will receive in September. VHS students must also pay an additional $75.00 for an AP exam – this is VHS's policy, not Hatboro-Horsham’s.

We encourage all students enrolled in AP courses to take advantage of this opportunity to earn college credit and demonstrate their academic achievements. The AP program remains an excellent way for students to challenge themselves academically and prepare for college-level coursework.

Thank you for your attention to these important deadlines and requirements.

Sincerely,

Dr. Dennis M. Williams, Jr., Ed.D. Principal
