12/4/20 Community Update
Dear Hatboro-Horsham Families:
This week, the Board of School Directors held a special meeting to determine the upcoming instructional plan. All Hatboro-Horsham Schools will continue with fully remote instruction for all students (Pre-K to grade 12) through Friday, January 8. On Monday, January 11, the District will resume its instructional delivery model that was in effect prior to the County’s directed closure.
Food Service: The District will continue to offer free meals to all children in the district (ages 0-18 years old). We will be open on Monday from 11-1pm and on Thursday from 4-6pm at Keith Valley Middle School. We will be serving on the bus loop closest to the fields. Please contact Jessica Oldsey, firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or issues with transportation to the KVMS distribution site.
Technology: Throughout December, there are several planned technology system upgrades for security and stability that will impact internet and systems availability. These have all been scheduled outside of normal business hours. District network and applications will be unavailable on Friday, December 11th from 8pm until Midnight, Saturday December 12th from 6am until 2PM, and Saturday, December 19th from 6AM until 2PM. During these times some or all our systems will be unavailable.
Student Assistance Program: Our Student Assistance Program (SAP) has published its December newsletter. In December’s edition, find guidance for celebrating the holidays while social distancing, self-care resources, community resources for families in need, and suggestions for family activities. Visit our district site at HHSD Social and Emotional Well-Being to find more resources, links, and previous newsletters.
Thank you for your support and understanding. Please be safe and well.
Scott Eveslage, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
