10/2/20 Community Update
Dear Hatboro-Horsham Families,
I hope this finds you well and your families in good health. We continue our active planning for the return of our students for in-person instruction. Details of these plans will be presented at our October 5 School Board meeting. Links for viewing the meeting online will be shared on our school board page the day of the meeting.
An important step in our planning occurs today, Friday October 2, as all parents/guardians will receive a questionnaire via email for each of their students. It asks you to express your preference for your student to either return to school onsite two days per week in a hybrid model or continue to attend school remotely from home full time. Descriptions of these two models are included with the questionnaire and will also be a part of the updates to our school board during their Monday October 5 meeting. You are also asked about your student’s transportation needs if you elect for them to return. It is important that all families submit a response for each student in the family. Please complete these questionnaires by Wednesday, October 7.
We continue to monitor public-health data and consult with public-health officials. Our reopening metrics have been tracked and updated weekly on the website available HERE. All plans for return will be assessed within the context of our public-health data. Therefore, we all must be vigilant in adhering to safety protocols.
