Welcome to the New School Year! The Hatboro-Horsham School District Food Service Department will continue to serve FREE breakfast and lunch to students in the 20/21 School Year. All children ages 0-18 are able to receive meals (enrolled students over the age of 18 with special needs are also eligible) We have modified our meal service methods in order to fit the needs of our students learning virtually.
Starting Tuesday September 8th, meals will be available for pick-up at Crooked Billet Elementary and Hallowell Elementary on Mondays and Thursdays. Please note, the first week will be Tuesday the 8th and Thursday the 10th. We will be open on Mondays between 10:30am-1:30pm and on Thursdays between 4-6pm. At each pick-up you will receive 5 days worth of breakfasts and lunches. This new service model allows families to pick-up food once per week. Students do NOT have to be present at the time of pick-up. When you arrive at the site, please stay in your vehicle, a Food Service staff member will assist you. Menus will be released on a bi-weekly basis and communicated to families.

It is our mission to provide students with affordable, healthy meals as well as the resources they need to understand and adopt a healthy lifestyle both inside and outside of school. Our vision is to model and practice good nutrition in school so our students understand the value of making healthy food choices. As a partner with both the national School Nutrition Association and the School Nutrition Association of Pennsylvania, the HHSD Food Service Department promotes high standards of practice, program integrity, member recognition, program resources and professional development for its staff.
The Hatboro-Horsham School District operates under the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program. We provide our students with healthy meals everyday at a reasonable cost. Thanks to the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act, major improvements have been made accross the country to transform school meals, promote good nutrition and reduce childhood obesity.
