It is my distinct honor and privilege to serve the Hatboro-Horsham School District, a school community with a proud and strong tradition of excellence. Along with our dedicated team, I commit to fostering a culture of respect and dignity. Only through a collective commitment to ensuring a safe, nurturing, and equitable learning environment can we help all students reach their potential. We understand that this can only be accomplished in partnership with families, through active, meaningful connections between home and school. In our community, Hatter Pride runs deep!
The 2025-26 school year marks my 33rd year proudly serving as an educator and 6th year as a Hatter. Before joining HHSD, my educational experiences included serving as a special education teacher, coach, athletic director, assistant principal, and principal at both the middle and high school levels. I also served as Assistant Superintendent in the Lower Merion School District, where I led curriculum and instruction, professional learning, and academic leadership. This work was done in conjunction with chairing the district’s equity, access, and opportunity initiatives. I believe all decisions and planning for our students and schools must be made through an equity lens. My educational background includes earning a Doctoral degree in K-12 Educational Leadership from Seton Hall University, a Master of Education degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Temple University. I also studied at St. Joseph’s University and Penn State University to earn my Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility and K-12 Principal’s certificate, respectively.
To work effectively together, we need to listen to, learn from, and work alongside one another. Through a commitment to fostering collaboration with students, parents, teachers and staff, administrators, elected officials, business partners, colleges and universities, and other community organizations and members, we can harness the coordinated collaborative support necessary to function as a united Hatboro-Horsham community focused on the educational success of our students, the children of Horsham Township and the Borough of Hatboro.
