Hatboro-Horsham Television Club

What do we do?

HHTV is a club at Hatboro-Horsham High School that focuses on giving students top-quality media production experience in areas such as live TV production, filmmaking, and content creation. HHTV students work in variety of roles to produce content covering sporting events, concerts, and Red & Black week, among many other current events.  At HHTV, students can learn to use cameras, edit videos, direct films, commentate sporting events, and so much more!

All our hard work usually culminates in our signature live-broadcast variety show "Under the Hat!". Every month while producing the show, HHTV students work behind and in front of the camera reporting on the latest news around the district leading up to our live production broadcast on YouTube. This always also includes creating pre-produced segments just for the show. Students who pitch segments get a chance to amplify their perspective on a topic of their choosing such as movies, music, and other areas of interest for high school students.

How to join?

At HHTV, we strive to prepare students for higher education by creating a fun and professional working environment. To join HHTV, email Mr. Anderson or Mr. Berchick. Also, you can stop by the TV Studio (F-219) or Mr. Berchick’s room (F-218).

If you are interested in taking media production classes, Mr. Berchick also offers TV and film classes semesterly. If you are interested in anchoring TV programs, producing sports media, and covering news segments, these are the classes for you!
