Andre' McLaurin, Ed.D.
Director of Educational Programming
Message from Dr. Andre' McLaurin
I am truly honored and excited to serve as the Director of Educational Programming for the Hatboro-Horsham School District as we gear up for the 2025-2026 school year! Joining a community with such rich traditions and a forward-looking vision fills me with enthusiasm for the incredible possibilities ahead. I firmly believe that every student brings something unique and valuable to our school community, and when we foster environments where students feel safe, welcomed, and supported, their success becomes not just possible—but inevitable.
In my role, I look forward to collaborating closely with departments across the District—including English Language Development (ELD), special education, special services, and federal programs—to ensure all students have equitable access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
Before joining Hatboro-Horsham, I served as an elementary and middle school principal, as well as an athletic director, in the School District of Springfield Township, Montgomery County. There, I had the privilege of leading initiatives focused on equity, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and cultivating a strong sense of belonging for both students and staff. My teaching journey began as a primary elementary teacher in Charlotte, North Carolina, before returning to the area to teach intermediate grades in the North Penn School District. Teaching and learning remain my greatest passions. I also currently serve as an adjunct professor, teaching graduate courses in special education, curriculum theory, and mathematical literacy.
My educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Shippensburg University, a Master of Arts in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University, and a Doctorate in K-12 Educational Leadership, along with a Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from Immaculata University.
Together, as a community, I am confident we will create schools where every student enters each day feeling a deep sense of belonging and pride, equipped with the support and resources to achieve their fullest potential.
