The Hatboro-Horsham High School
Mr. Dennis M. Williams, Jr.
High School Principal
My name is Dennis M. Williams, Jr. and this marks my fifteenth year as an administrator at this fine high school and fourteenth as the building principal. As a 1993 graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School, I am continually excited about leading this building to new levels of achievement. I attribute a great deal of my professional success to my experiences and memories at H-H and the local community. I loved my time here and was active in a variety of ways. As a student, I was an all-conference football player and discus thrower at H-H and was a member of the 1992 District One Championship Football Team, the only district football championship in history and was inducted into the H-H Athletic Team Wall of Fame in 2009.
I was also a member of the Black Student Union, Spirit Committee, Red & Black Captain and the FBLA. After graduating from HHHS, I moved on to Muhlenberg College where I played varsity football, threw the discus and was an All-Conference selection. I majored in History and Secondary Education before graduating from Muhlenberg in 1997. I am a board member on the President's Diversity Council at Muhlenberg and consistently return to the college to participate in speaking engagements and to facilitate workshops.
Immediately after college, I taught Social Studies at Cheltenham High School, was a class sponsor, prom adviser, teacher mentor, after school tutor, Student Assistance Program team member, assistant varsity football coach and head varsity throwing coach for the track team. I completed my certificate in Educational Administration at Gwynedd-Mercy College and my Superintendent Level certification is from Arcadia University. I am thrilled to be back at my alma mater leading a staff focused on providing quality educational experiences and a student body with such talent and desire to be contributing members of society. I have an awesome daughter, Maya Denise (14) who while she attends another school district, is also a HATTER at heart ... she has no choice:)
