    Course Description:  Film Production is a Communications/Language Arts course that provides students with a basic overview of filmmaking techniques, basic camera shots, movements and also storytelling through the screenplay.

     Students participate in classroom and laboratory activities regarding all aspects of film: performance, production, and operations. Upon successful completion of this course, students will have enhanced communications skills and a better understanding of film production, as well as film’s impact on society. Students are also prepared for further study in film and/or TV Production at the college level. This course is a prerequisite for all other advanced courses in the Television Production/Communications program.
    Many of the projects from this course also become submissions for local, regional and national film & video festivals. Hatboro-Horsham HS has been recognized as an award winning Film and Television program.

    HOW DO YOU VISUALIZE EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS?

    HOW DOES PLANNING, COMPOSITION, DESIGNING, ACTING AND EDITING LEAD MY FILM TO BECOME A PIECE OF ARTISTRY?
     
     
    CURRENT HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS: 

     

    *PLEASE NOTE, DISTRICT POLICY MANDATES TEACHERS TO ONLY EXTEND LATE WORK TO 3 SCHOOL DAYS AND CAN DEDUCT 15%/DAY. AFTER THREE DAYS, THE GRADE IS A ZERO.
