It is my great pleasure to have joined the Hatboro-Horsham School District and to serve as the Director of Elementary and Secondary Education. I began my career in education as a classroom teacher after graduating from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a B.S. in Elementary Education, and continued my teaching career after moving to Pennsylvania. I earned a Masters in Education from Shippensburg University, along with a Reading Specialist and K - 12 Principal certifications.
I served as an assistant principal and principal at the middle school level for over 11 years until moving to the district level at Upper Perkiomen School District. During my tenure as a principal, I attended Seton Hall University where I earned my doctorate in Educational Leadership. At Upper Perk, I worked as the Director of Teaching and Learning, then as the Assistant to the Superintendent. I also attended St. Joseph University to secure a Superintendent Letter of Eligibility.
My passion for working in a collaborative environment to ensure all children are given support, guidance, and rich opportunities in order to reach their greatest potential has brought me to this district. I am excited to work with the entire Hatboro-Horsham School District community as we explore ways to ensure all students experience a meaningful and relevant education so they thrive, grow, and develop into the very best versions of themselves!
