Community Aquatics Program
Recreational and instructional swimming is offered as part of the community aquatics program. During the school year, the swimming lesson program is conducted in the evenings and on Saturday mornings for 9 classes. The summer program is held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings for 9 classes. Features of the pool include children swim lessons, adult lap and fitness times, and family swim.
Pool Rules

1.
No person may use pool unless it is officially open and lifeguards are on duty.

All instructions given by lifeguards are to be followed.

3.
Admission to the pool may be denied at the discretion of pool manager for any of the following reasons:
- A) Intoxication
- B) Open sores, wounds, skin infections, nasal or ear discharges.
- C) Any condition or evidence that will jeopardize the health and safety of the community or students

4.
No running allowed. Patrons must walk in pool and restroom areas.

Diving is permitted only in deep end. Please note signs around the pool edges.

6.
Running, pushing, causing undue disturbance, or any conduct that may endanger the welfare of self or other patrons is prohibited.

Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult (age 18yrs or older) at all times the child is in pool area or locker room.

A responsible person, who is in the water, must supervise children less than 5 years of age or non-swimmers and remain within arm’s reach of child. Persons unable to pass swim test must stay in water that is not over their shoulders.

9.
Flotation devices will be permitted in the shallow water at the manager’s discretion. An adult must be within arm’s reach of the child. No inner tubes allowed.

Proper swimming attire must be worn.

11.
Infants /Children not toilet trained must wear swimming diapers under swimsuits. No diapers please.

12.
Spitting, blowing of nose into the pool or on deck, improper public displays of affection and profanity is prohibited.

13.
Inflatable beach balls or sponge balls are allowed in the pool during non-crowed conditions and at the manager’s discretion.

14.
Glass containers or breakable objects of any kind are not permitted in the pool area; locker rooms or school hallway.

15.
All injuries occurring within the pool area or locker rooms must be reported to manager immediately.
