    Use the following codes to create Spanish accents and characters on the computer:
     

    First press ALT and hold.  Next type the numbers below in the number pad (Make sure number lock is turned on).  The Spanish character should then appear.

     0193 = Á         160 = á

    0201 = É         130 = é

    0205 = Í         161 = í

    0211 = Ó        162 = ó

    0218 = Ú       163 = ú

    165 = Ñ          164 = ñ

      168 = ¿         173 = ¡

     

    OR

    To get an accent, press the CONTROL button, and the ' (the apostrophe). Then let go and type the vowel, and the accented letter magically appears. For accented capital letters, hold the SHIFT button when you type in the vowel.
    To get the ñ, press the SHIFT and CONTROL buttons and then type the tilde on the upper left hand corner of the keyboard. For the Ñ you will need to hold SHIFT when you type the "n".
    To get the upsidedown question marks and exclamation points, press simultaneously the CONTROL, SHIFT, and ALT buttons and the keyboard question mark or exclamation point.
