At Hatboro Horsham High School, our goal is for our students to graduate prepared to be successful in whatever they endeavor while becoming responsible and productive citizens equipped for the 21st century. In support of that vision, we will provide programming for students to identify their skills, interests, and aptitudes and assist them in discovering how those qualities can be applied to careers and educational opportunities after graduation. This year, we are working to create connections in the community for students to have hands-on experiences in the world of work prior to graduation. Through these experiential learning opportunities, students will then be able to determine if their initial career goals meet their expectations so that they can adequately plan for post-secondary education and training. The future ready counselor is working in conjunction with the counseling department and staff to integrate opportunities into the classroom as well as through larger scale events.
