HHSD Health Services
-
Dear Parent or Guardian,
Welcome to the Hatboro-Horsham School District. Health services are an important part of our school district. How well your child learns depends on his or her well-being. Parents have the first responsibility for their child's health. School Health Services are provided by the School Nurse for the purpose of giving first aid treatment for injuries, assessing students for illness, administering prescribed medications, communicable disease prevention and control, determination of health needs, providing education on health related matters and performing state-mandated screenings such as growth, vision, hearing and scoliosis at specific grade levels.
It is helpful to us as a school community to have good communication with families at all times. The more information we have, the more we can help your child remain healthy and to succeed in school. Please do not hesitate to contact your School Nurse so that we can assist you in meeting your child's healthcare needs.
