Technology Replacement Parts Statement for the 2023-2024 School Year

Families and Students,

Welcome back for the 2023-2024 School Year at Hatboro-Horsham School District!

For the 2023-2024 school year:

Grades K and 1 will receive an iPad, Ipad Charger and a case (iPads do not come with a stylus or Apple Pencil)
Grades 2 through 5 will receive a Laptop and Charger (No Stylus will be in the device, these are being assigned to the classroom)
Grades 6 through 8 will receive a Laptop, Charger and Stylus 

If those parts are lost, the student/family will be responsible for purchasing replacements.  Our devices are leased and, when the lease is over and the devices are returned, the district is financially obligated to replace any missing items, including the stylus and charger.  If devices are severely damaged due to negligence or abuse, the student/family will also incur a charge for replacement of the equipment.

We have worked with SHI (a computer retailer) to enable families to purchase replacement parts. Please follow the directions below to purchase replacement parts.

This portal has the stylus and chargers for all devices available for you to order, pay with a credit card and have the device shipped directly to you.
Occasionally, supply chain issues prolong orders for replacement parts.  In the event that a replacement part is needed faster than the order can be delivered, the technology department will provide a loaner with proof of purchase of a replacement accessory.
