    The Office of Human Resources of the Hatboro-Horsham School District is dedicated to providing excellent personnel services by assisting the District's schools and departments in hiring and retaining the best qualified applicants.  We are responsible for all aspects of personnel relations from the time of hire through to retirement or resignation.  More specifically, the Office of Human Resources assures compliance with employment laws and mandates, handles labor relations and collective bargaining issues, develops staffing recommendations, and administers all facets of the employee fringe benefit program.  Our department procedures support the implementation of the District's plan of achievement by providing optimal service and support to meet the collective needs of our students, staff and community.

    As the director, Christine is responsible for the strategic and efficient operation of the various functions related to human resources. Those functions include: Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting and Hiring, Policy, Collective Bargaining Agreements, Employee Relations, Employee Evaluations and Professional Certification to name a few.

    Cindy Weiss, Human Resources Supervisor

    Cindy handles the certified and administrative staff with regards to onboarding, induction, certification, correspondence, leave tracking, agenda preparation, HR database maintenance, salary letters and end of year rollover. Cindy oversees the process for issuing administrative and professional employee badges.  

    Barbara J. Koestler, Senior Human Resources Generalist

    Barbara helps Hatboro-Horsham's Human Resources Department in the following areas:  agenda preparation and correspondences; HR databases; HR website; recruiting and hiring events; interviews; on-boarding and orienting of support staff; performance appraisals and exit surveys for support staff; job descriptions; purchase orders and check request. Barbara oversees the process of issuing support staff badges.  Recently, Barbara has taken over managing our safe schools vendor which is responsible for employee required trainings.
