The information on this page is for families of KVMS students. It contains important information and updates regarding the new 1:1 laptop initiative at Keith Valley!

Device Distribution

Student devices will be distributed during the school day to students in their Social Studies classes the week of September 9.  Students will work with KV teachers and staff to login and go through a tutorial and orientation for the device.  Please be sure to talk to your student regarding the care and use of the device.  Our student and parent agreement for the device is linked below.  A signed agreement from a parent must be received at KV prior to the device deployment during the second week of school. Agreements may be printed, signed and returned during our Open House, through your student to his/her homeroom teacher, or at Back to School Night.  If you have paid using our online provider, MySchoolBucks, families may electronically sign the agreement on that site.  The device issued to each student will be for use during the 2019-2020 school year and each student will be expected to turn it in, with the issued accessories, at the end of the school year.

Family Technology Fee Structure

The Hatboro-Horsham School District is charging a fee for the insurance waiver for each device.  All devices are $30 per student.  If a family qualifies for the Reduced Lunch Program, the cost for the device is $15.  If a family qualifies for the Free Lunch Program, there is no cost to the family.

Payment Information

Families have two options for payment.  The first option is online with a credit card using our online provider myschoolbucks.com 

Information regarding MySchoolBucks can be found here MySchoolBucksInfo and the KVMS Student and Parent Agreement can also be signed on the site. All online transactions will be recorded by the district and credited so students may receive their devices during the second week of school.

The second option is a check made payable to the Hatboro-Horsham School District.  We will be accepting checks during the KV Open House and during Back to School Nights.  Students may also bring checks in to the KV main office during the first week of school.  We also ask that you print out and turn in the signed last page of the Student and Parent Agreement with your check.
