On this day in Black History … February 21, 1940, the great John Lewis was born. The great civil rights leader was a giant activist who spent 60 years fighting for justice and equality for ALL people. From his work in the 1960s with Dr. Martin Luther King, the 1970s when he was appointed to a White House position by President Carter, to the 1980s when he joined the US House of Representatives, to the 2000’s, where his idea of a National African American Museum came true in Washington D.C. THE MORE YOU KNOW.

We hope that you can come out and join us for the Black History Month Concert TONIGHT. The concert begins at 6:30 pm. But, before the concert come check out the business expo and food truck that will be on site from 5:00-6:15 pm.
