HSA stands for Home and School Association. The purpose of the HSA is to create a positive atmosphere for learning through a cooperative effort between administrators, teachers, staff, and parents/guardians by providing financial assistance, organized social functions, extracurricular educational programs, and a volunteer parent network. We are a 100% volunteer organization composed of Simmons Elementary School parents just like you!
By joining the Simmons HSA, you show your commitment and support to our wonderful school and the children who attend Simmons Elementary. Becoming a member is only $10.00 per family and helps our organization to plan fun family nights, educational programs, and provide items for the classroom, and school as a whole, in addition to other fundraising efforts we put together throughout the year.
Being a member of the Simmons HSA does not automatically sign you up to volunteer, but it does give you voting rights at the meetings for all important decision making.
