KV Challenge

Keith Valley Families,

 

We are carefully reviewing the most recent weather forecasts to determine the best course of action regarding the Challenge.  Our desire is to continue with the Challenge as planned.  We have purchased food that will not keep for a rescheduled date, our guest speakers are enroute to KV, the kids are all dressed… rescheduling now would not be optimal. The Challenge will kick-off as scheduled at 2:00. We will contact you again at 5:00 PM tonight with an updated plan for dismissal. Currently we have two plans for ending the Challenge, depending on the actual track of the winter storm:
 

Option 1: We will continue with the scheduled program overnight and we will begin dismissal in the morning when it is safe for families to drive and pick up their students. If we need to delay pick-up we will keep the students here, we can show a movie in the auditorium and we have plenty of food.

Option 2: We will cut the Challenge short and change pick up time from 7AM to an earlier time such as 7 or 8 PM.

Please anticipate a HHSD Autocall at 5:00 PM with an update regarding dismissal from the KVC.
