Welcome to the Web Site for Hallowell Elementary School!
It is our hope that you will use this site often to find important information about our school and its resources. We will work diligently to ensure that the information presented through this web site is both current and helpful.

To provide a little background, Hallowell Elementary School serves approximately 310 students from kindergarten through grade five. We are located at 200 Maple Avenue in Horsham.

The staff at Hallowell Elementary is a dedicated team of lifelong learners whose mission is to work collaboratively with one another and our community partners for the betterment of all our students. Evidence of this mission can be seen throughout this website as you will find information about our curriculum and student activities.

Our students receive quality instruction in a variety of areas, including language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Embracing the concept of teaching the whole child, our students obtain a rich understanding of music and the arts, as well as health, guidance, technology, and library / researching skills.

We are fortunate to have an active and involved Home and School Association providing an abundance of family activities. The HSA is comprised of interested families who work together with the school administration and faculty to encourage participation in the educational process. There are many opportunities to volunteer your time and efforts, and whether large or small, the efforts are greatly appreciated.

I look forward to continuing to serve our children and the Hallowell community. If you need to contact me for any reason, please dont hesitate. You can reach me at 215-420-5901 or via e-mail: sglaize@hatboro-horsham.org.

Sincerely,

Mr. Steve Glaize, Principal

Hallowell Elementary School
