The Hatboro-HorshamSchool District believes the classroom teacher is the most important element of the learning experience. We also recognize that new teachers to the Hatboro-HorshamSchool District have special needs that must be addressed to ensure their professional competence. The induction program and activities have been designed to support a successful transition into the teaching profession, construct an understanding of our culture, build relationships and expand pedagogical skills. Our teacher induction program is a process to help beginning teachers and teachers new to the HHSD to function more effectively during their first year and second year in the teaching profession.
