Student Resource Center is a database that includes many Gale databases in one site. It is the location to search contemporary magazines and newspapers. The Discovering Collection has been incorporated into this database.
Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center provides information on social issues drawing from books, magazine and newspaper articles, and even links to websites.

Global Issues in Context offers international viewpoints on a broad spectrum of global issues, topics, and current events. Each of these gateway pages includes an overview, unique "perspectives" articles written by local experts, reference, periodical, primary source and statistical information. Literature Resource Center
Find up-to-date biographical information, overviews, full-text literary criticism and reviews on more than 130,000 writers in all disciplines, from all time periods and from around the world. The optional MLA International Bibliography module adds citations for hundreds of thousands of books, articles and dissertations from 1926 to the present, linked to full text where available. This database contains over 1400 essays on medical and health-related topics that include diseases, treatments, diagnostic equipment, and major historical figures in the fields of medicine, chemistry, biology, and related areas. There are over 60 full-text medical and health periodicals, almost 200 pamphlets from authoritative sources, a timeline describing over 500 events from the history of medicine and health sciences, and 300 photographs and diagrams. It is fully integrated into Student Resource Center.

The CQ Researcher explores a single "hot" issue in the news in depth each week. Topics range from social and teen issues to environment, health, education, science and technology. It includes comments from experts, lawmakers and citizens on all sides of every issue.
SIRS Knowledge Source http://sks.sirs.com
There are three databases included in SIRS Knowledge Source:
1. SIRS Researcher is a general reference database with thousands of full-text articles exploring social, scientific, health, historic, economic, business, political and global issues.
2. SIRS Government Reporter is the one source for current and historic government documents; landmark and recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions; facts on federal departments, agencies, elected leaders; and more.
3. SIRS Renaissance includes current perspectives on the Arts and Humanities. Subjects include music, literature, film, performing arts, culture, architecture, philosophy, religion and the visual arts.

NoveList
NoveList contains materials for all ages including picture books, children's "chapter" books, young adult titles and books for adult readers.

Electronic books (ebooks) are available. Full-text searchable and available for personal computers.
Access Pennsylvania database
Catalog records and locations for materials owned by over 2700 school, public, academic and special libraries in Pennsylvania. Many of these references are available through interlibrary loan.
