Personal Information
After I graduated from High School, I attended Hofstra University in Hempstead New York. I played softball for the University, and graduated in 2002. I majored in Biology and minored in both Chemistry and Secondary Education. After graduation I went on to teach in the Copiague School District. The district is located in New York, I was both a high school biology teacher and a Seventh Grade General Science teacher. While there, I was a member of the varsity softball team coaching staff. I moved back to Pennsylvania after spending six years in New York. I am very happy to be in Pennsylvania and teaching at Hatboro-Horsham. When I am not in the building, I spend my free time on the tennis courts coaching the team in the fall, on the slopes with the ski club in the winter, with the Students for a Sustainable Future year round, or spending time downtown with my husband. If you are interested in joining any of the extra curricular activities, please stop by and talk to me. This is a great way to get involved!! I am also involved in 9th grade transition. I firmly believe a positive high school experience starts on day one, and carries through the entire first year. I am more than willing to help any freshman students or any students for that matter that need a little advice or support.
